Share God’s Transforming Power
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek”
(Romans 1:16 HCSB).
These are the watch words for this year’s Annie Armstrong Easter Offering of the North American Mission Board of Southern Baptists.
Whether it is Jim Ballard working with the ranchers in eastern Idaho or Michael Allen working with the “down and outers” in the inner city of Chicago, we Baptists are doing what we can to reach every people group in North America. Now, more than any other time in recent history, the need is great.
This year the national goal is 70 million. This money is used for direct missions in North America. Not one penny is used for administrative costs or any other costs of any kind. It is going to bring people to Christ to experience a new way of life and build the Kingdom of God.
How much is a lost soul won to Christ worth to me?
That is the question we need to ask ourselves. Pray about what you can give to help our missionaries all over North America. Do what you can to help your church with God’s Plan for sharing in your community.
